Our aim is to widen access, demystify the medical profession, and support young people as they explore their future pathways.<\/p>\n<p>Medic Insight Dundee is delighted to announce the launch of our\u00a0brand\u2011new\u00a0virtual lecture series,\u00a0<b>Meet the Doctor!<\/b> We would be thrilled to have you to join us for the fourth event.<\/p>\n<p>Our events are usually for pupils within the\u00a0tayside\u00a0area however for this virtual series we are\u00a0opening up\u00a0to all S3-6 pupils across Scotland!<\/p>\n<p>This series is designed for\u00a0<b>S3\u2013S6 pupils<\/b>\u00a0who are considering a future in medicine and would like to gain a realistic insight into the\u00a0day\u2011to\u2011day\u00a0life of a doctor.<\/p>\n<p>For our second event we will be having a talk from\u00a0a Geriatric doctor , who will share their career journey, clinical experiences, and advice for aspiring medical students.<\/p>\n<p><b>Event Details<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Date:<\/b>\u00a0Wednesday 3<sup>rd<\/sup> June<\/li>\n<li><b>Time:<\/b> 5:30pm<\/li>\n<li><b>Location:<\/b> Microsoft Teams<\/li>\n<li><b>How to join:<\/b> Pupils can sign up using the link provided in this email.<\/li>\n<li><b>Before the event:<\/b>\u00a0A Teams link will be sent out the evening before or the morning of the event, along with a Padlet link where pupils can\u00a0submit\u00a0questions for the speaker.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Please note:<\/b> Pupils\u2019 cameras and microphones will remain switched off throughout the session.
