During the sustained programme of support, students will develop skills that all employers look out for, not just those in the legal profession.<\/p>\n<p>We will be running CMS Connect across our London, Bristol, Sheffield and\u00a0<b><i>Glasgow<\/i><\/b>\u00a0offices this year.<\/p>\n<p><b>Successful applicants will benefit from:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>5 days of paid work experience this summer (3-7 August)<\/li>\n<li>Mentoring<\/li>\n<li>Workshops and insight sessions to enhance skills required for the world of work<\/li>\n<li>Ongoing support<\/li>\n<li>Successful applicants can also be spring-boarded to the CMS Solicitor Apprenticeship or Insight programmes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><i>Eligibility\u00a0<\/i><\/b><i>\u00a0<\/i><i><\/i><\/p>\n<p>To\u00a0see the eligibility criteria please click\u00a0<a title=\"https:\/\/cmsemergingtalent.com\/programmes\/scotland\/work-experience\/\" href=\"https:\/\/cmsemergingtalent.com\/programmes\/scotland\/work-experience\/\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-linkindex=\"5\">here<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0The link to the application form can be accessed\u00a0<a title=\"https:\/\/cmscmno.grad.allhires.com\/app\/\" href=\"https:\/\/cmscmno.grad.allhires.com\/app\/\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-linkindex=\"6\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><b>Applications close on 16 June 2026<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">\u202f<b><u>CMS Law Scholarships\u00a0<\/u><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Successful applicants will benefit from:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Financial support (\u00a33,000 per year) for each year of their law degree<\/li>\n<li>Mentoring during their UCAS applications and LNAT examination<\/li>\n<li>A trainee buddy to provide more informal support with starting a career in the law<\/li>\n<li>Paid work experience during their\u00a0second\u00a0year of University<\/li>\n<li>The opportunity to be fast-tracked to future Emerging Talent programmes and assessment centres for a Training Contract<\/li>\n<li>Ongoing support and guidance throughout their undergraduate studies and beyond<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>(Mentoring, paid work experience, opportunity to be fast track to assessment days and ongoing support are offered to everyone who is invited to an assessment day, regardless of whether they win a Scholarship or not.)<\/p>\n<p><b><i>Eligibility\u00a0<\/i><\/b><i>\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><\/i>Scholarships are aimed students who are currently in S5 and will be going to S6 after the current exam diet, and who will be the first generation in their family to go to university. There are\u00a0additional\u00a0criteria that students must meet to be eligible \u2013 full details can be found\u00a0<a title=\"https:\/\/cmsemergingtalent.com\/programmes\/scotland\/law-scholarships\/\" href=\"https:\/\/cmsemergingtalent.com\/programmes\/scotland\/law-scholarships\/\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-linkindex=\"3\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>To apply, students will need to complete an online application form and answer a question on what law they would change and why. If successful, they will be invited to an assessment day.
