These assessments are primarily conducted during class time, although the assembly hall may also be utilized. The purpose of these assessments is to track pupils&#8217; progress across their courses and to set targets to aim for improvement.<\/p>\n<p>Some courses include practical assessments, which must be completed and submitted to the SQA by March or April.
