Guidance has changed, just prior to our Christmas break, surrounding how parents will be notified of a positive case in the school community.<\/p>\n
As before children mixing in schools are deemed to be ‘low risk contacts’ and would not need to isolate unless contacted by Test and Protect.<\/p>\n
We will now send out the attached letter on our school app which will be available to all but will clearly identify the class where a positive case has been confirmed. Please read the letter and take notice of the recommendation that public health are advising, where possible, that children in identified classes take a lateral flow test before returning to school.<\/p>\n
