However, you can collect it using less sophisticated methods. You can rely on the gas being (largely) insoluble and less dense than water. Your method must provide an accurate measure of the volume. When drawing your diagram, use a ruler and try to ensure the gas has a clear path from the reaction vessel to the collection method. |
