CURAMUS

Flowers, flowers everywhere!

February 1, 2017 by Mrs Marletta | 0 comments

Hello everyone,

January is over, which means we can officially start warming up for Spring (we hope the weather got the memo). All over the school grounds there are signs of new life, buds on the trees and flowers starting to grow. During outdoor learning and the gardening master class, children have been  clearing, planting and improving our outdoor space. They have worked so hard and learned a lot from our resident experts Mrs Leyden and Mrs Sinclair. We’re sure you will agree that their hard work really shows in these pictures. They’ve made a beautiful space that everyone in the school, and visiting our school, can enjoy. We’re very proud of and grateful to everyone involved. We can’t wait to see what else the planters and kitchen beds have to offer in the coming months.

Keep up the green fingered work!

We’re going daft for daffodils!

Hello everyone,

The Primary 2 & Primary 3 gardeners have been hard at work clearing our planters of autumn leaves and preparing them for planting. This week their hard work paid off and we managed to plant two whole sacks of daffodils. We can’t wait to see them in all their yellow brilliance come spring time! The children have loved learning new skills, having fun outdoors and helping to maintain and improve our outdoor learning environment. Here are a few pictures of our green fingered children!
