P2 loved playing ‘pizza shops’ last week. They used their new found fraction knowledge to make whole, half and quarter flavoured pizzas for their hungry customers.

P1 were able to join in too by counting, adding and subtracting the various toppings onto their pizza bases.

The menus introduced a literacy element to the learning experience and the children enjoyed looking up their favourites and checking out the prices.
