To round off our measurement focus in maths, we went outside today to measure the length and width of our playground in metres. The children worked in pairs to use a metre stick and record their results on a whiteboard. It was tricky to keep the metre stick still while we marked each metre on the concrete with chalk! We had fun learning through practical activities! 😊
