Primary 6b have been learning all about Scots language. This week we have been writing our own verses to a popular Scots song, “Oh Aye!”

Children from schools across Scotland have been taking part to create “the langest sang.”

Here are a few of our own…

Flowers, flowers everywhere!

February 1, 2017 by Mrs Marletta | 0 comments

Hello everyone,

January is over, which means we can officially start warming up for Spring (we hope the weather got the memo). All over the school grounds there are signs of new life, buds on the trees and flowers starting to grow. During outdoor learning and the gardening master class, children have been  clearing, planting and improving our outdoor space. They have worked so hard and learned a lot from our resident experts Mrs Leyden and Mrs Sinclair. We’re sure you will agree that their hard work really shows in these pictures. They’ve made a beautiful space that everyone in the school, and visiting our school, can enjoy. We’re very proud of and grateful to everyone involved. We can’t wait to see what else the planters and kitchen beds have to offer in the coming months.
