You will have fun opportunities to perform in solo settings and as part of a group. You will then choose to develop practical musicianship skills on two of these instruments.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">Listening<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Throughout your time in the BGE, you will build understanding on a range of different topics including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Music in the Movies<\/li>\n<li>Pop Music<\/li>\n<li>Instruments of the Orchestra<\/li>\n<li>Musicals and Operas<\/li>\n<li>Jazz and Blues<\/li>\n<li>World Music<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You will also learn how to read and write music using music notation.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">Composition<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You will write you own music using tools on the iPad such as GarageBand and other music software packages.
