We are very pleased that the City Council has recognised the quality of the work which we undertake within the school to provide a \u201cHealth Promoting\u201d learning environment for our young people.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">During the review, Council representatives visited the school and spoke to pupils, staff and carers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Council recognised the following key strengths of the school:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<li>The high level of commitment to promoting health and well-being for all.<\/li>\n<li>The positive relationship the school has with pupils\u2019 carers.<\/li>\n<li>The satisfaction carers had with the school.<\/li>\n<li>The range of ways in which children achieve and the celebration of their achievements in assemblies and award ceremonies.<\/li>\n<li>The extensive range of extra-curricular activities.<\/li>\n<li>The excellent commitment to equality and fairness for all, including addressing the needs of specific groups.<\/li>\n<li>Staff\u2019s commitment to and involvement in health and wellbeing activities within the school.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Our thanks go out to all staff, pupils and carers for their support in ensuring that the equality of our provision remains very good.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Geri Collins<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Head teacher<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are delighted that Hillpark Secondary has received accreditation as a \u201cHealth Promoting School\u201d from Glasgow City Council.
