Finance should never be a barrier to joining the NYOS community and families are encouraged to <strong>apply for a bursary<\/strong> if they are eligible.<\/h3>\n<h3>2023 will be a year of exploration as NYOS review and respond to the findings from our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nyos.co.uk\/news\/nyos-soundings\">Soundings<\/a> consultation. While this process is ongoing, NYOS have announced two changes to the Classical Pathway: in 2023 a <strong>NYOS\u00a0Development Orchestra<\/strong>\u00a0will\u00a0replace Juniors and Seniors, and the\u00a0upper age\u00a0limit\u00a0for Symphony Orchestra\u00a0applications will be\u00a0<strong>22 years old<\/strong>.<\/h3>\n<h3>NYOS&#8217;s ambition is to ensure that they remain relevant, responsive, accessible and inclusive. NYOS will continue to provide the best orchestral education and performance opportunities for young musicians living and studying in Scotland, as well as those with Scottish connections based further afield.
