In  August 2020 we introduced a new National 5 course to our fourth year pathways. National 5 Laboratory Science is a course made up of four units:

• Careers in Science
• Work in a Laboratory
• Practical Skills
• Practical Investigation

Learners are enhancing their practical laboratory science skills, to gain skills for life and work. There is no final exam for this course, with the four units being assessed internally.  More information on the course can be found on the SQA website.

Our S4 Lab Science class are currently working on solutions and have been learning how to prepare standard solutions.
