{"id":2810,"date":"2020-05-01T12:57:06","date_gmt":"2020-05-01T12:57:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/gc\/hillheadhigh\/?p=2810"},"modified":"2020-05-01T12:57:06","modified_gmt":"2020-05-01T12:57:06","slug":"reach-top-up-and-summer-school-update-for-s5-s6","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/gc\/hillheadhigh\/2020\/05\/01\/reach-top-up-and-summer-school-update-for-s5-s6\/","title":{"rendered":"Reach, Top Up and Summer School Update for S5- S6"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><b><u>Top- Up<\/u><\/b><\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Anyone who attended and completed the program but were not able to complete their written assignment have been awarded a B pass for this assignment.<\/li>\n<li>Results will be sent out to you and to admissions officers for Universities in the next 2 weeks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><b><u>Summer School<\/u><\/b><\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Summer school will run online in June or July<\/li>\n<li>Pupils will have one of the following offers for completing Summer School: academic skills module only, OR academic skills module and 1 or 2 academic subjects.<\/li>\n<li>You may receive an offer to complete Summer School if you do not achieve your acquired grades for your SQA exams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div><u><b>Reach Campus Week\u00a0<\/b><b>(Medicine, Dentistry, Law, Vet Medicine \u2013 Current S5 pupils moving to S6 in June<\/b><b>)<\/b><\/u><\/div>\n<div><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #201f1e;font-family: Calibri, sans-serif\">This will take place online on the week beginning 15th June<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #201f1e;font-family: Calibri, sans-serif\">On campus sessions will follow as soon as possible<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #201f1e;font-family: Calibri, sans-serif\">The online sessions will include all information needed to apply in October.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #201f1e;font-family: Calibri, sans-serif\">Adjusted offers will still be made for completing Reach Campus Week<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><span style=\"color: #201f1e;font-family: Calibri, sans-serif\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"color: #201f1e;font-family: Calibri, sans-serif\"><b><u>Sutton Trust Summer School<\/u><\/b><\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #201f1e;font-family: Calibri, sans-serif\">Will now run online week beginning 27th June<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #201f1e;font-family: Calibri, sans-serif\">Completion will still play the usual role in adjusted offers for Life Sciences; Arts; Social Sciences; Physical Sciences, Engineering.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><b><u>Access to a Career Programme (Accounting &amp; Finance, Engineering, Education)<\/u><\/b><\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>The aim is to run this later in the year.
