{"id":61,"date":"2017-05-15T14:35:08","date_gmt":"2017-05-15T14:35:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/gc\/hillheadhigh\/?page_id=61"},"modified":"2025-08-04T14:03:24","modified_gmt":"2025-08-04T14:03:24","slug":"pastoral-care","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/gc\/hillheadhigh\/school-information\/staff\/pastoral-care\/","title":{"rendered":"Pastoral Care"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Pastoral Care<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n<p>The duties of every teacher include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>promoting and safeguarding the health, welfare and safety of\u00a0young people<\/li>\n<li>working in partnership with parents support staff and other professionals<\/li>\n<li>providing advice and guidance to pupils on issues related to their education<\/li>\n<li>contributing towards good order and the wider needs of the school<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Pastoral care staff in Hillhead High have a group of young people who they will work with to ensure their passage through school is a safe and successful one.
