{"id":455,"date":"2020-09-29T09:01:15","date_gmt":"2020-09-29T09:01:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/gc\/highparkps\/?page_id=455"},"modified":"2021-01-14T09:36:50","modified_gmt":"2021-01-14T09:36:50","slug":"digital-learning","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/gc\/highparkps\/digital-learning\/","title":{"rendered":"Digital Learning"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Dear Parents and Carers,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">The following information is designed to help support you and child(ren) during the closure of schools in Term 3 of 2020\/ 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080\"><strong>Primary 1 &#8211; 6<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Seesaw<\/strong> <\/span>will be the primary mode of communication and <strong>for all<\/strong> learning and teaching experiences.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Class teachers will be uploading learning experiences daily, focusing on Literacy and English, Numeracy and Mathematics, Interdisciplinary Learning (Topic), and Health and Wellbeing.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Feedback will be provided on work completed, either in written format or voice recordings.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Class teachers will also be providing pre-recorded short videos to all pupils within the class, this is an important part in ensuring pupils are connected with on a daily basis.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">New concepts, as well as consolidation of prior learning, will be addressed throughout this period.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080\"><strong>Primary 7<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Microsoft Team<\/strong><strong>s<\/strong><strong> and Seesaw<\/strong><\/span> will be the primary mode of communication and <strong>for all<\/strong>\u00a0learning and teaching experiences.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Class teachers will be uploading learning experiences daily, focusing on Literacy and English, Numeracy and Mathematics, Interdisciplinary Learning (Topic), and Health and Wellbeing.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Feedback will be provided on work completed, either in written or voice recordings.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">New concepts, as well as consolidation of prior learning, will be addressed throughout this period.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"color: #ffcc00\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Additional Support for Primary 7<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Class teachers will be organising Microsoft Teams meetings with groups of pupils throughout the week. This will take the format of a live face-to-face virtual meeting, through the Microsoft Teams application.
