Vision and Values<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

At Highpark Primary and LCR we provide a welcoming and friendly environment, which celebrates the diversity of our community, celebrating achievement and success in every aspect of a child’s life<\/span><\/p>\n

We are a nurturing school where everyone feels safe, happy and valued and all children are supported to reach their full potential. This is achieved through working<\/span>
\n together with children, their families and the community, based on a shared sense of direction.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nhelps all stakeholder full appreciate the fullest potential of each and every child at Highpark Primary and LCR.<\/span><\/p>\n

We further develop an understanding of the world and pupil citizenship through exploring and developing;<\/span> Inclusion<\/span>, Kindness<\/span>, Fairness<\/span>, Honesty<\/span>, Achievement<\/span>, and<\/span> Respect<\/span><\/p>\n

Aims<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We have very high expectations for our pupils and will ensure we provide a learning environment that will support and stimulate; which encourages independence but is<\/span>
\n inclusive, which recognises the right of each pupil to be treated fairly and equally. To realise these expectations for our pupils we must also have high expectations and high standards for ourselves as teachers and for our school.<\/span><\/p>\n

We will continue to update, develop and reflect upon teaching expertise. We will recognise that each child is an individual and we will develop our knowledge and understanding of each child. We will provide a quality learning and teaching environment, use methodology appropriate to the situation and select relevant materials and resources.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a school we will ensure we create an environment, an ethos, which reflects our values. We want to be recognised as a school which has high standards and high<\/span>
\n expectations; a school which is inclusive; a school where children and adults feel valued and respected; where everyone feels they belong.<\/span><\/p>\n

Equal Opportunities\/Social Inclusion<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

As a school we give a strong commitment that we will provide a safe environment where all children can access the curriculum, feel part of the school community, be treated fairly and have any issues investigated fully.<\/span><\/p>\n

Equal opportunities should permeate the life of a school. Equality and inclusion should be apparent in our structure and practices; in the content of our curriculum and the way we relate to each other. We will promote an inclusive environment which values and recognises difference. We fully endorse the Authority\u2019s policies\u00a0 relation to equity and inclusion and have implemented our policy on Race Equality in<\/span>
