Enrolment
Pupils are normally referred to the school by Psychological Services following rigorous assessment and planning for individual needs. During this process, parents and carers will be offered the opportunity to discuss their child’s additional support needs as well as the potential placement.
However, parents must enrol their child at their local mainstream school as a first step. Registration of Primary 1 children takes place in November and is advertised widely in local press etc.

On Wednesday March 23rd, the whole school will participate in a Discothon – two one hour blocks of DJ sets delivered by pupils who have been fine tuning their DJ skills at the Glasgow Music Studios on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons for a number of months.
Pupils will be working hard before the event to decorate the hall and encouraged to dress up for the event in disco clothes from various eras! From flared trousers to glow sticks – it’s all welcome on the day.
Please sponsor our pupils for this event, a lot of effort has gone into preparing the music and organising the day and being able to raise funds for our new sensory room would make everything worth it!
Sponsor forms will be given out to our pupils or you can donate via our JustGiving page: http://www.justgiving.com/hazelwoodvision

Carol Singing
Some of our senior pupils went carol singing at Sainsbury’s Breahead just before the Christmas holidays. They did a fantastic job and helped to raise money for the school.
