Primary 5/6 December Update

Another busy month for Primary 5/6. We have been applying our multiplication strategies to solve word problems, creating fantastic pieces of art inspired by artist Paul Klee and working hard on our research skills.

We have been using our research skills to learn about WW2 and endangered animals. We then use our research and created information reports to share our knowledge. We have been working so hard and cannot wait for the Christmas Break.

Primary 5/6 November Update

This month Primary 5/6 learned about keeping themselves and others safe on our roads during Road Safety Week. The researched speed limits, common road signs and the laws around children’s car seats and seat belt use.

We have also been working with The Celtic Foundation who have been delivering The Joy of Movement programme in our class every Tuesday morning. The children have learned a lot about health eating, how to keep ourselves fit and active and reducing our screen time. The best part is when the coach takes us to the hall for fun and games.
