Throughout December, P3/2 children have enjoyed a busy and festive period of learning.
They developed recount writing skills by writing about their Christmas party and took part in a range of Christmas craft activities, including decorating handmade clay baubles.
Children also engaged in imaginative play through a Post Office role-play area, developing communication, teamwork, and real-life literacy skills such as writing letters and using money.
In RME, children learned about the Nativity story using KWL charts, sequencing and matching activities, colouring for display, and watching a Nativity video to deepen understanding.
Overall, it has been a creative, engaging, and enjoyable term of learning.
