November has a been a busy month for Primary 7.
In Literacy we have continued to focus on our descriptive writing, using the description bubble to create a variety of setting descriptions. We have been trying hard to use ambitious vocabulary, similes and metaphors to enhance our writing and engage readers. We have also been developing our reading skills through Film Literacy. We have learned about technical features of film such as colour, camera and sound.
In Maths and Numeracy we have been working on multiplication and division applying this learning to whole and decimal numbers. Alongside this we have been learning about money; the importance of budgeting and how these skills will help us in the real world.
We have also been working hard to develop our independence and creativity through our DIY classroom. We have been using our initiative and time management skills to work through our learning and have had the opportunity to explore our STEM area. We are excited for this to continue to grow and develop.
P7 were also lucky enough to get a cinema trip to see Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning which was an enjoyable day out for everyone.
