This immersive approach supports enriches pupils&#8217; cognitive, cultural and linguistic development.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"536\" data-end=\"614\">Our curriculum follows <strong data-start=\"559\" data-end=\"588\">Curriculum for Excellence<\/strong>, and we are committed to:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"615\" data-end=\"961\">\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"615\" data-end=\"694\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"617\" data-end=\"694\">Providing high-quality learning experiences <strong data-start=\"661\" data-end=\"693\">through the medium of Gaelic<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"695\" data-end=\"794\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"697\" data-end=\"794\">Developing learners\u2019 skills in <strong data-start=\"728\" data-end=\"771\">listening, talking, reading and writing<\/strong> in Gaelic and English.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"795\" data-end=\"868\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"797\" data-end=\"868\">Promoting <strong data-start=\"807\" data-end=\"838\">Gaelic language and culture<\/strong> across all areas of learning.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"869\" data-end=\"961\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"871\" data-end=\"961\">Ensuring progression and continuity in Gaelic learning, from early years to upper primary.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"929\" data-end=\"1334\">In line with national guidance from Education Scotland\u2019s <em data-start=\"986\" data-end=\"1021\">Advice on Gaelic Education (2019)<\/em>, we follow an <strong data-start=\"1036\" data-end=\"1083\">immersion phase from Primary 1 to Primary 3<\/strong>, where pupils are taught <strong data-start=\"1109\" data-end=\"1136\">entirely through Gaelic<\/strong>.
