We are thrilled to announce that 2025 will see The Glasgow Schools’ Big Band back in The Fruitmarket.<\/p>\n
We will be joined by bands filling the hall with jazz, funk and soul music.<\/p>\n

Monday 24th February 2025 In The Fruitmarket.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Our Rehearsal Schedule from 5th September 2024 can be found here<\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Following the gig in The Fruitmarket on February 19th 2024….<\/p>\n there is NO rehearsal on Thursday 22nd February 2024.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n There is NO REHEARSAL<\/strong> on<\/p>\n There is NO REHEARSAL<\/strong> on<\/p>\n due to the holiday weekend.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Our first rehearsal date for this term is set.<\/p>\n Please join us at<\/p>\n City Halls Studio 2 at 7pm<\/p>\n We are hoping that circumstances will allow us to resume full band rehearsals this term.<\/p>\n I will post details of scheduled rehearsals here.<\/p>\n If you are interested in taking part, please get in touch<\/a>.<\/p>\n All rehearsals have been cancelled, as has the City Halls Concert on 30th March 2020.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Please check back for updates.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The band will be performing on the main stage<\/strong> in George Square<\/strong> as part of the European\u00a0Football Championships on the 25th\/26th June 2020<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Another date for GSBB – 30th April<\/strong> at The Fruitmarket<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The GSBB 2020 rehearsal schedule begins on Thursday 16th January 2020.<\/strong><\/p>\n 7pm In Studio 2 in the City Halls, Glasgow.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The GSBB will be performing at the City Halls\u00a0as part of\u00a0the Spring Concerts on Monday 30th March 2020.<\/strong><\/p>\n We hope to be playing one or two other gigs at the early part of 2020, so check back for dates for your diary.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" We are thrilled to announce that 2025 will see The Glasgow Schools’ Big Band back in The Fruitmarket.
