CITYWIDE SCHOOLS PROJECT 2026: ALIVE (BY SKIPINNISH)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Glasgow CREATE invites all Primary and Primary ASN schools across the city to take part in this year\u2019s citywide singing project. Following the overwhelming success of last year\u2019s \u201cIt\u2019s Our Home, Glasgow\u201d project, we are thrilled to launch this year\u2019s song: \u201cAlive\u201d by Skipinnish<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAlive\u201d<\/strong> is a joyful, uplifting anthem that reflects themes of resilience, joy, and connection to the world around us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Permission has kindly been granted by songwriter Angus MacPhail<\/strong> of Skipinnish, who has also provided a Gaelic translation of the chorus (S\u00e8ist)<\/strong>, making this a unique opportunity to celebrate Gaelic culture and the city\u2019s rich musical identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project will culminate in a citywide video montage featuring pupils from schools across Glasgow – a fantastic opportunity for pupils to share their voices as part of a larger musical celebration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
