Titled&nbsp;<strong>&#8220;It&#8217;s Our Home, Glasgow&#8221;<\/strong>, this ambitious citywide celebration aims to bring together every primary school in Glasgow in a shared expression of pride, culture, and unity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-poppins-font-family\">This project forms part of the Glasgow 850 celebrations, a landmark occasion that honours the city&#8217;s rich history and vibrant community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-poppins-font-family\"><strong>What\u2019s Included:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list is-style-checkmark-list has-custom-glasgow-pink-color has-text-color has-link-color has-poppins-font-family wp-elements-a3fe2403546c3fc8880253bec0454d69\">\n<li><strong>Teaching Videos<\/strong>: Step-by-step instructional videos to guide teachers and pupils through learning the song.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Lyric Sheet<\/strong>: Ready-to-use materials to make rehearsals easy and accessible.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Audio Backing Track<\/strong>s: To support practice sessions and performances. Included are tracks with guide vocals to sing along with, and an instrumental only version without vocals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Verses in English, Scots, and Gaelic<\/strong>: A multilingual approach to celebrate Glasgow\u2019s diverse linguistic heritage. The Gaelic lyrics were written by Chrissie Bannerman &amp; Dr Anne Lorne Gillies and are used with permission.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Makaton Signing Video<\/strong>: A dedicated video teaching the Makaton signs for the chorus, ensuring the song is inclusive and accessible to all learners.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Suggested Year Groups for Each Part of the Song<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list has-contrast-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-373ecd680f90fa4c01a43255f81c8a34\">\n<li class=\"has-poppins-font-family\"><strong>Verse 1<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 P3 and P4<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-poppins-font-family\"><strong>Chorus<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 All<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-poppins-font-family\"><strong>Verse 2<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 P1 and P2<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-poppins-font-family\"><strong>Verse 3 \/ Rann &amp; S\u00e8ist<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 Gaelic learners<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-poppins-font-family\"><strong>Verse 4<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 P5, P6 and P7<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-poppins-font-family\">Participating schools will have the opportunity to film their classes singing the song and submit their videos to be included in a stunning citywide montage that will premiere as part of the celebrations.
