This project incorporated the expressive arts, digital, creativity and DYW skills. It will culminate in&nbsp;an interactive, interdisciplinary, cross sectoral project&nbsp;which aims to <strong>re-engage schools with the cultural and arts opportunities our city offers.<\/strong> This was a free, city-wide project open to all primary and secondary schools at any stage, and any curricular area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-montserrat-font-family has-medium-font-size\" style=\"margin-right:0;margin-left:0\"><strong>25 schools<\/strong> and over <strong>500 pupils<\/strong> participated in the different stages of the project, as detailed below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-montserrat-font-family has-medium-font-size\" style=\"margin-right:0;margin-left:0\">1. A citywide challenge was distributed to all schools, with the task of answering 5 questions about their own experience of Glasgow and recording their answer in any format \u2013 poster, social media response, presentation etc.<br>2. A bus trip for <strong>80 pupils<\/strong> across <strong>5 schools<\/strong>, exploring the city of Glasgow and hearing about unique aspects from the tour guide.<br>3. A drama play day for <strong>60 secondary pupils<\/strong> from across the city, who devised performances on the theme of \u201cGlorious Glasgow\u201d.<br>4. A dance routine, devised by YDance and based on the pupil responses from step 1, which was shared and developed with <strong>5 secondary schools <\/strong>and<strong> 30 pupils<\/strong>.<br>5. An Expressive Arts Day for <strong>35 primary teachers<\/strong>, using the theme \u201cGlorious Glasgow\u201d. Participants took part in a creative workshop based on each Expressive Art, made connections as to good practice in schools across the city and took away lesson plans for each session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Glorious Glasgow\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/CpPn_RJijDs?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-capture-it-font-family\">Teaching Resources<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-montserrat-font-family has-medium-font-size\">The responses to this challenge led to the development of resources to support learning and teaching in Expressive Arts and to promote the development of creativity skills through exploration of a Glasgow theme.<br>These resources contains series\u2019 of lessons focusing on Art &amp; Design, Dance, Drama and Music, which provide ideas for practitioners to explore with learners across Early, First and Second Level, making links to the wider curriculum and creativity skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-grid wp-container-core-group-is-layout-aaee5833 wp-block-group-is-layout-grid\">\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-style-default has-text-color has-link-color has-capture-it-font-family has-large-font-size wp-elements-85a931c62d7348f2a2faa5a8f55b5d98 is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\" style=\"color:#ff6193\"><summary>ART &amp;
