They develop their capacity to enjoy drama and their knowledge and understanding through evaluating technical aspects and scripts, and commenting on their work and the work of others.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p><cite>Curriculum for Excellence: Expressive Arts<\/cite><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group alignwide is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u2728 Drama Learning in Glasgow<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-poppins-font-family\">Glasgow\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/gc\/createresources\/exa-framework\/drama-framework\/\"><strong>Framework for Expressive Arts \u2013 Drama<\/strong><\/a> supports high-quality teaching and learning from <strong>Early to Fourth Level<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-poppins-font-family\">The framework provides:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list has-poppins-font-family\">\n<li>A clear <strong>progression of skills<\/strong> and experiences<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Benchmarks<\/strong> for each level<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Practical classroom and digital resources<\/strong> to inspire creativity and reflection<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-poppins-font-family\">CREATE supports schools to provide inclusive, engaging drama experiences for all learners, building staff confidence and ensuring consistency of approach across the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\udf9f\ufe0f Partnerships and Opportunities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-poppins-font-family\">CREATE works in partnership with many of Scotland\u2019s leading arts organisations \u2014 including <strong>The Tron Theatre<\/strong>, <strong>Royal Conservatoire of Scotland<\/strong>, <strong>National Theatre of Scotland<\/strong>, <strong>Citizens Theatre<\/strong>, and <strong>Scottish Youth Theatre<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-poppins-font-family\">These collaborations connect schools with professional artists and practitioners, offering pupils authentic opportunities to explore devising, performance, and technical theatre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\udfad Glasgow Schools\u2019 Youth Theatre (GSYT)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-poppins-font-family\">After a number of years away, <strong>Glasgow Schools\u2019 Youth Theatre<\/strong> proudly returned under CREATE\u2019s direction. GSYT brings together talented young people from across the city to develop their skills in acting, devising, and ensemble performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-poppins-font-family\">Through working with professional directors, tutors and designers, participants experience the excitement and challenge of creating theatre to a professional standard.
