These groups are for brass, woodwind and percussion players and form part of the wider progression route towards Glasgow Schools\u2019 Symphony Orchestra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Who it\u2019s for<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>These groups are for young people who play:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>woodwind<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>brass<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>percussion<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Concert Band Grade 1 &#8211; 3<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Symphonic Wind Band Grade 4+<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What happens<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Pupils rehearse as part of a concert band, developing ensemble skills, musical confidence and performance experience with a wider wind and percussion group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Where and when<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Venue:<\/strong>&nbsp;City Halls, 87 to 101 Albion Street, Glasgow, G1 1LH.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rehearsal and concert dates:<\/strong>&nbsp;Saturdays &#8211; please see the calendar for dates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How progression works<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Progression through the concert band pathway is not automatic.
