Gender Friendly Nursery

Welcome to the Gender Friendly Nursery, a programme of training and action to help early years practitioners learn about gender stereotypes and inequality, equitable approaches, why it’s so important in the early years and how you can develop your practice. This blog is for practitioners/leaders who have completed either the full-day face to face training, or the 4-part virtual training, and who want to take this forward in their nursery. In the next 4 sections you will find recordings and slides to help you deliver the key messages of the training to your colleagues in a way that suits you – whether you can devote a day’s in-service to it or want to have bite-size activities and discussions over a number of weeks of months.

Click on the link below to download the latest version of the Gender Friendly Nursery trainers manual.  This includes suggestions and materials for ways that you can share the learning with your team.
