This is part of our Reading Schools journey. We\u2019re all very excited, and we\u2019ve had lots of help and support from all round the school. Mrs. Panaretou from the Music Dept. has shown us how to use Garage Band and lent us special recording equipment. Bilal in S6 is our sound engineer.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_5894\" style=\"width: 365px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5894\" class=\" wp-image-5894\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/gc\/public\/gccschoollibraries\/uploads\/sites\/10968\/2025\/10\/09114149\/bilal.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"355\" height=\"296\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-5894\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Setting up for recording<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Chapter Chats was set up in 2023, as a book group &#8220;for all Busy Bookers in Holyrood, to openly recommend and rant about what you are reading&#8221;. We love doing this! We have 9 regular members, and we\u2019ve met for special recording sessions 3 times \u2013 in September\/ October.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. McGrath and Bilal have hosted the podcasts. We could talk about books all day, so we\u2019ve tried various things to keep on track, such as Quick Fire questions. We\u2019re looking at various options, and also looking at good practice from other schools throughout Scotland.
