The King Cat Board Game

Use your counters and dice to play the board game. Roll the dice, move that many spaces and have a go at answering the question.

Set up a shop

Create price tags for items in your shop. You could draw these items or label objects which you already have. Role play buying the items, adding the total and calculating the change.

Create a route for your animal

Use paper or other materials to design a route to walk your animal. Are there any turns in your route? Do you need to turn left or right? Can you use a Sphero or Beebot? Can you programme your Beebot or Sphero through this route? If you don’t have these, can you direct a friend or family member through the route by giving them instructions?

Create a pattern for your pet’s collar

Use your dot pattern board to create a shape pattern for your pet’s collar. Can you find any shapes from your pattern in your home/outside/at school?

Create a daily timetable

Cat sleeps during the day and protects his people at night. What do you do during the day? Create a timetable of what you did today. What did you do in the morning, afternoon and at night? Can you have a go at writing what you did or draw pictures to illustrate this.
