Aims<\/h3>\n

According to Education Scotland (2018)\u00a0“Learning for sustainability (LfS) is an approach to learning, life and work.\u00a0 It enables learners, educators, schools and their wider communities to build a socially-just, sustainable and equitable society”.<\/p>\n

All learners have an entitlement to learning for sustainability.\u00a0 In Glasgow Early Years we use\u00a0the Growing Good Citizens\u00a0toolkit to enable us to self evaluate and gain recognition through a Growing Good Citizens award:\u00a0Growing Good Citizens Toolkit<\/a><\/p>\n

COP26<\/h3>\n

With the upcoming COP26 conference being hosted in Glasgow this year (1st – 12th Nov 2021) a resource has been devised to support practitioners in engaging young children with the Sustainable Development Goals, in particular SDG 13: Climate Action.<\/p>\n
