Assessment and Moderation Key Messages
The new Key Messages documentation for Assessment and Moderation in Glasgow City Council were launched by Sharon McGeever at the recent Head Teacher’s meetings. These documents outline what assessment and moderation looks like within our authority and provides an outline of important aspects such as achievement of a level, standardised assessments, features of highly effective practice and assessment evidence to support tracking. There is also a helpful table to outline the key differences between moderation and verification to ensure staff are using the correct terminology when discussing their practice.
