House System and Values

Our House Captains and Vice Captains are responsible for demonstrating our school values and managing our house system. All classes have a school values chart and children are awarded house points against our values. Our values are Honesty, Everyone is Kind, Achieving, Respect and Teamwork (HEART). Our new Vice Captains, House Captains and Sport Captains are noted below:

Students

Over the coming months there will be a variety of teaching students joining us at Cuthbertson. You may see them around school or in the playground.

Parent Evenings

Our Parent Evenings will be held on Wednesday 12th November and Tuesday 18th November from 3.30 until 6pm.

Appointments

Our office staff are being inundated with appointments during school hours. Collecting children for appointments between 9am and 3pm disrupts the class and your child’s learning. Please try to arrange appointments outside of school hours, where possible.

Financial Inclusion

We have a finance officer in school every Monday and Thursday morning to help families with a variety of issues including housing, benefits, employment and training etc.  Please drop in to speak to her or to arrange an appointment. All information shared with Emma or Aisha is confidential.

What’s on:

Fri 10 October: School closed for staff training – no children to attend

Mon 13 Oct:       School closed all week for holiday

Mon 20 Oct:       School opens and children return

Fri 24 Oct:           Diwali Celebration (details to follow)
