Parent Council

Our Parent Council would welcome additional members. If you are interested in coming along to our meetings or supporting our events please speak to Mrs Murrie. All welcome.

Family Finances

Our Family Finance Key Worker, Emma, in association with Cemvo will run a session aimed to help families with budgeting. This will take place on Thursday 3rd April at 9am.

The class is aimed at people living in Scotland who would like to increase their financial knowledge, skills and understanding with the aim of improving their financial well-being and resilience.

Iftar

Thanks to everyone who bought tickets for our Iftar Together event. The event raised £800 for our school funds and was a wonderful evening.

Safety at School Gates

Please park safely when dropping off and collecting your child. It is not acceptable to park on the cycle path, on yellow lines or to double park across from the school. Please park in a suitable and safe location and walk to school to collect your child.

Attendance and Late Arrivals

Attendance below 90% may impact your child’s progress in school. Late arrivals cause your child to miss important teaching points and disrupts the learning of other children and the running of the school office. Please try to have your child attend school every day at 9am. Thank you for your continued support in this area.

Parent Pay

Parent Pay is now live and the council requires that parents/carers use Parent Pay to pay for items such as lunches and trips. You will have received instructions on how to do this. Please contact the school office if you have any problems as the school will no longer be able to accept cash payments.

Wednesday 2 April – Eid Celebration (morning for children/afternoon for parents/carers)

Thursday 3 April – Daffodil Tea for P1 classes and parents/carers (afternoon)

Friday 4 April – Easter Bunny in School

Friday 4 April – School closes 2.30pm

Monday 7 April to Monday 21 April (inclusive) – Holiday

Tuesday 22 April – School re-opens 9am
