Welcome back to all our children and families after the Christmas holiday. Thank you to all our families for supporting out Christmas Market and Christmas Concert/Nativity.
Parent Council
Our Parent Council continue to meet most Thursday mornings at 9.15am for coffee and a chat. All welcome.
Uniform
Almost all of our children are wearing school uniform. Please not that non-uniform items such as jeans are not acceptable as school uniform and please write your child’s name on their uniform and jacket. Thank you for your continued support in this area.
Uniform can be bought in local supermarkets such as Asda, or Cuthbertson Primary branded uniform can be bought from BE Uniforms. Either style of uniform is acceptable.
The school uniform is:
- White or Yellow shirt or polo shirt
- Cardigan, sweatshirt or jumper – green or grey
- School tie- green & gold stripes
- Grey or black trousers
- Grey or green or black skirt
Financial Inclusion
We have a finance officer in school every Thursday morning. Her name is Emma Furniss and she is available to help families with a variety of issues including:
- housing
- benefits
- employment
- training etc.
Please drop in on a Thursday morning to speak to her or to arrange an appointment. All information shared with Emma is confidential.

Parent Pay
Parent Pay is now live and the council requires that parents/carers use Parent Pay to pay for items such as lunches and trips. You will have received instructions on how to do this. Please contact the school office if you have any problems as the school will no longer be able to accept cash payments.
Attendance and Late Arrivals
Attendance below 90% may impact your child’s progress in school and late arrivals cause your child to miss important teaching points. Please try to have your child attend school every day at 9am. Thank you for your continued support in this area.

Monday 12-Tuesday 13 Feb (inclusive): Holidays
Wednesday 14 Feb: School closed to children for staff training
Thursday 15 Feb: School re-opens
