INFORMATION FOR YOUNG PEOPLE TEACHERS & FAMILIES<\/h5>\n

The Benedetti Foundation is delighted to be working in partnership with Glasgow CREATE Instrumental Music Service to bring our \u2018Music Service Sessions\u2019 to the city on Sunday 27 February in City Halls.<\/p>\n

Young string players (violin, viola, cello, double bass), from P3-S2, and working from approximately Grade 1 to Grade 3 level, are invited to join us for a day of making music together. Please note no exams need to have been taken and these grades are given as a guideline.<\/p>\n

This day has been designed for you. We want you to absorb as much as possible, leave any nerves or worries at the door and be relaxed, yet focused. Intense, yet calm. Our sole intention is to inspire you. In order for us all to gain the most from the workshop, we will require a level of commitment from you as we work towards the sessions. Regardless of your level, we want to help each and every one of you to remember that to be good at something, and therefore experience more enjoyment, it takes consistent and intelligent work. It doesn\u2019t happen on its own.<\/p>\n

By signing up to this workshop, you are also signing up for preparation. It doesn\u2019t have to take long, but consistency is key. We have put together a tutorial video and a play along track to help you all with your practice. These will be shared with all those who are registered from the start of February. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis & more details will be shared once you have received confirmation of a place.<\/p>\n

On the day, we will be working with an amazing team of tutors:\u00a0Rachel Cooper<\/a> and Joelle Broad<\/a> (violins), Ruth Nelson<\/a> (viola) Simone Seales<\/a> (Cello) and Stewart Wilson<\/a> (Double Bass). Click on their names to read more about them.<\/p>\n

We will also have a group of our Ambassadors (conservatoire students) with us who will be working with you as well.<\/p>\n
