In STEM Primary 3 have been learning all about the human body. Today we carried out an experiment to see how the lungs work. We worked in groups to apply our STEM skills. Have a look!
Primary 3 took a trip to the Glasgow Museums Resource Centre to take part in a Fairy Tales workshop as part of their Knights and Castles topic and what a fantastic trip it was!
They got to see lots of armour, use their imagination to climb a beanstalk, fight dragons and dress up to make stories of their own. It really was a superb learning opportunity allowing the children to make links across the curriculum and develop their story telling skills!
All of the boys and girls put in so much effort dressing up as their favourite character. Throughout the day the children took part in activities in their classrooms and then had the opportunity to take part in a ‘Where’s Wally’ scavenger hunt in the playground. Here are some of the highlights.
Some children made diorama’s with their families of their favourite scene from a book.
Primary 3 had a fantastic day today! They took part in lots of wonderful activities such as creating book marks for our competition, going on a ‘Where’s Wally’ hunt in the playground and creating magical stories using props from our dress up box which the other classes loved! Why not take a look!
