The boys and girls enjoyed going outside and writing their cvc words.

‘We went on a common word hunt’ – Ross

Measure

The children have been learning to measure the length of objects using cubes, paperclips and giants feet.

‘We used scales to weigh objects’ – Ethan

The boys and girls chose an object for one side of the scale and then put cubes in the other side until they ‘balanced’.  It was great fun!

World Book Day

All of the boys and girls put in so much effort dressing up as their favourite character.  Throughout the day the children took part in activities in their classrooms and then had the opportunity to take part in a ‘Where’s Wally’ scavenger hunt in the playground.  Here are some of the highlights.

Some children made diorama’s  with their families of their favourite scene from a book.
