🌍 Eco Committee Update! 🌱💚
Our Eco Committee is officially up and running and we are very excited to begin our journey towards becoming a greener, more environmentally friendly school!
We recently held our very first Eco Committee meeting, where our enthusiastic members were presented with their special Eco Committee badges, which they are all incredibly proud to wear! 💚
During our meeting, we began sharing lots of fantastic ideas about how we can make our school more eco-friendly and do our bit to help protect our planet. It was wonderful to see the children so eager to make a positive difference!
🌱 What’s next?
In Term 2, our Eco Committee will be carrying out an environmental audit to help us identify what our school is already doing well and where we can make improvements. We will then use our findings to create an Eco Action Plan, setting ourselves exciting goals to work towards.
🏆 Our big goal? To achieve the Eco-Schools Green Flag Award for our school!
We know that small changes can make a big difference and with the enthusiasm and determination of our Eco Committee, we can’t wait to see what we can achieve together!
