This will be a project which will span a number of years.<\/p>\n<p>Our aim this year is to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Gather ideas from pupils, staff, parents and BOSCA on ways which we can improve our playground.<\/li>\n<li>Visit a local school which has a variety of equipment and speak to pupils to hear their recommendations.<\/li>\n<li>Create a plan detailing what equipment and activities we are going to use in specific areas of the playground.<\/li>\n<li>Select an area to develop this year (if possible)<\/li>\n<li>Organise fundraising for the future areas of development.<\/li>\n<li>Share all this information with the school community.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There are areas of the playground which are muddy and we are hoping to lay a soft surface so that these areas can be used all year round.\u00a0 A canopy has also been suggested for over the picnic benches, again, to allow them to be used throughout the year.<\/p>\n<p>We have created a PowerPoint to help gather ideas of how specific areas of the playground can be used.
