Glow, Scotland\u2019s unique, world-leading, online network supports learners and teachers in this and plans are already in place for parents across the country to have access to Glow.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Teachers and practitioners now share information to plan a child\u2019s \u2018learning journey\u2019 from 3-18, helping their progression from nursery to primary, primary to secondary and beyond, ensuring the change is smooth.\u00a0\u00a0 These ensure children continue to work at a pace they can cope with and with challenge they can thrive on.<\/p>\n<p>Curriculum for Excellence balances the importance of\u00a0knowledge\u00a0and\u00a0skills.<\/p>\n<p>Every child is entitled to a\u00a0broad and deep\u00a0general education, whatever their level and ability. Every single teacher and practitioner\u00a0is responsible for\u00a0literacy and numeracy and health and wellbeing\u00a0\u2013 the language and numbers skills that unlock other subjects and are vital to everyday life.<\/p>\n<p>It develops\u00a0skills\u00a0for learning, life and work to help young people go on to further study, secure work and navigate life.\u00a0It brings real life into the classroom, making learning relevant and helps young people apply lessons to their life beyond the classroom.\u00a0It links\u00a0knowledge\u00a0in one subject area to another helping children understand the world and make connections.
