The Faculty of Performing Arts comprises of both the Music and Drama departments, boasting four excellent and well equipped teaching spaces along with a range of practice rooms.

It is our belief that everyone should have the opportunity to participate in the positive, inclusive and empowering environment the arts can offer whither you are interested in a career in performance or not.

We deliver courses ranging from Curriculum for Excellence broad general level up to, and including, Advanced Higher study. In all of our courses the emphasis is on practical learning and exploration, encouraging young people to work independently and creatively.

We also also deliver a range of curriculum enhancement and extra-curricular activities such as theatre trips, school shows, workshops from visiting arts agencies, choirs, instrumental ensembles, individual and small group instrumental tuition and drama clubs.
