This programme builds on the foundations already in place through\u00a0Curriculum for Excellence.<\/p>\n<p>Our aim at Bellahouston Academy is to support young people into making <strong>informed<\/strong> <strong>choices<\/strong> about their post-school destinations. We do this by offering <strong>careers education, work placements, vocational pathways (part-time college programmes), STEM input, partnering with industry<\/strong>, <strong>subject specific career information, and career mentoring programmes<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong> <em>We also offer dedicated time to all our leavers to ensure they have applied to the right courses (and other opportunities) at the right levels.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Pathways for pupils include moving on to university, college, training programmes, employment and apprenticeships.
