Well everyone, what a very quick and eventful four months we have had here in the Challenge room.<\/p>\n
We\u00a0 are really excited about what we have accomplished and are exceptionally proud of the children who we work with.<\/p>\n
Here is a quick list of some of our highlights –<\/p>\n
Soft Start P1 and P2<\/em><\/p>\n Pre Reading workshop – for adults<\/p>\n Rhyme and Phonological Awareness workshop – For P1 parents<\/p>\n <\/p>\n All children in P1 – 7\u00a0fully assessed in reading and writing<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Playing With Sounds input in Primary 1 <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Bookbug – books read and bags issued to P1<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Read, Write and Count – bags gifted to P2-P3<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n First Minister Reading Challenge P4- P7<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Getting Started Programme introduced to P4 children<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Paired Reading programmes – Led throughout term 2 by middle school<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Money and support raised in aid of Macmillan<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Parent Bookswap on Thursday afternoon<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Whoo whoop here’s to many more exciting adventures next year.
