Curriculum for Excellence 3-18<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Curriculum for Excellence has been introduced to raise standards of learning and teaching for all 3 to 18 year olds. It aims to help prepare children and young people with the knowledge and skills they need in a fast changing world. As part of Curriculum for Excellence all children from pre-school to the end of S3 will receive a rounded education known as a Broad General Education (BGE). Curriculum for Excellence is all about bringing real life into the classroom and taking lessons beyond it.<\/p>\n

Through the experiences we provide at Balornock Primary School we want our children to become Successful Learners, Confident Individuals, Responsible Citizens and Effective Contributors.<\/p>\n

Progress in learning is indicated through curriculum levels as detailed below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
