{"id":60,"date":"2022-06-17T11:18:55","date_gmt":"2022-06-17T10:18:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/gc\/anderstonprimaryschool\/?page_id=60"},"modified":"2023-04-25T15:10:46","modified_gmt":"2023-04-25T14:10:46","slug":"after-school-clubs","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/gc\/anderstonprimaryschool\/parents-zone\/after-school-clubs\/","title":{"rendered":"School Clubs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We offer a number of school clubs throughout the year.<\/p>\n<p>When organising sports coaching, we liaise with our Active Schools Co-coordinator, Grant Allison, utilising staff expertise or sourcing coaches to deliver the clubs.<\/p>\n<p>Term 1: As part of a school initiative to improve the playground experience for our children, we are currently offering Multi sports clubs three times per week (Tuesdays &#8211; Thursdays) during lunch time for the children in classes P4\/3a, P4, P5a, P5b, P7\/6a and P7\/6b.<\/p>\n<p>Term 2: We have both multi sports and football clubs on offer during lunch time this term for classes (P3-7).<\/p>\n<p>Term 3: Our infant classes (P1, P2\/1 and P2) are enjoying Multi Sports lunch time clubs this term.<\/p>\n<p>Term 4: As requested by the children, we have organised for some specialist football coaches\u00a0 to take football clubs during lunch times for P3-7 this term. Football is proving extremely popular among the pupils in the playgrounds and they are very excited to work with a football coach.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We offer a number of school clubs throughout the year.
