Child Protection and Safeguarding<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

At Anderston Primary School, the safety and wellbeing of every child is our highest priority. We are committed to creating a secure, nurturing and inclusive environment where all children feel safe, valued and respected.<\/p>\n

Protecting children and young people is everyone’s responsibility. If you have any concerns about the wellbeing, safety or welfare of a child, please do not ignore them. Early intervention can make a significant difference to a child’s life.<\/p>\n

To support parents, carers and the wider community, we have provided copies of our Child Protection Leaflet, Child Protection Policy, and a list of our school safeguarding responsibilities\/ contacts below.<\/p>\n

If you have any concerns about a child attending Anderston Primary School, please contact the senior leadership team as soon as possible. All concerns will be dealt with in line with Glasgow City Council and national child protection guidance.<\/p>\n

Together, we can help ensure that every child at Anderston Primary School is safe, supported and able to thrive.<\/p>\n

Allergy Aware School<\/h3>\n

At Anderston Primary School, we are committed to providing a safe environment for all children, including those with food allergies and other medical conditions.<\/p>\n

We have a number of pupils and staff who live with severe allergies, some of which can cause life-threatening reactions. As an Allergy Aware School, we ask all members of our school community to help reduce the risk of accidental exposure to allergens.<\/p>\n

While we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment, we take all reasonable steps to minimise risks through staff training, individual healthcare plans, careful supervision and close communication with families.<\/p>\n

We kindly ask parents and carers to support us by being mindful of the foods and products sent into school and by following any guidance issued regarding specific allergies. By working together, we can help ensure that all children are able to learn, play and thrive safely.<\/p>\n

Keeping our children safe is a shared responsibility, and we thank our school community for helping us protect pupils with allergies.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
