Over the past five years Primary Schools in the Rosshall Learning Community have been involved with a Mile-a-thon challenge.

The basic idea is the children will run a marathon (26 miles 385 yeards) over 13 weeks by running 1 mile one lunch time a week and then another mile at home.

This year (2015) all five schools are involved as follows …

Monday lunchtime – Hillington PS: 110 P4-7 pupils

Tuesday lunchtime – Sandwood PS: 60 P4-7 pupils

Wednesday lunchtime – Cardonald PS: 130 P4-7 pupils

Thursday lunchtime – Craigton PS: 86 P4-7 pupils

 

Friday lunchtime – Crookston Castle PS: 30 P7 Pupils
