We have created video guides to demonstrate how to access Home Learning resources and these will be provided along with the programme.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nS4 \u2013 6 pupils should,\u00a0of course,\u00a0have been engaged in SQA examinations throughout the next month. All\u00a0of these\u00a0pupils will have Estimate Grades for every subject sent to SQA by the end of May. It is not possible to share these\u00a0estimates\u00a0with pupils\/parents\/carers.<\/p>\n
We would normally have S4 and S5 pupils,\u00a0who wish to progress to S5 and S6,\u00a0return to school at the end of May to begin their new timetable. At present,\u00a0it is our intention to provide these pupils with a similar structure for home learning as described above,\u00a0from\u00a0Monday 25th\u00a0May. For the next four weeks, however, and to help to prepare the\u00a0new S5 and S6\u00a0for this, our request is\u00a0that\u00a0these pupils prepare for their subject choices for next year by logging\u00a0into\u00a0the\u00a0BBC Bitesize\u00a0website (https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/bitesize\u00a0)\u00a0if possible. The new S5 and S6 pupils should\u00a0revise\u00a0the material they have covered in their current subjects\u00a0at their present levels\u00a0(although\u00a0only for those\u00a0subjects they intend to study next year).<\/p>\n
Some S4 and S5 pupils have not selected subjects and some have not made clear what their intentions for next year are. Some pupil choices of subject are not available. These pupils and parents\/carers will be contacted by year group heads\u00a0or their Pastoral Care teacher\u00a0to discuss\u00a0this further.<\/p>\n
Throughout this time Principal Teachers of Pupil Support will keep in touch with pupils via Teams on Glow. The Pupil Support Team can also signpost families to appropriate services within the local community if required. Pupils can continue to access our school counselling service, details of which have been sent out via Teams.<\/p>\n
A number of planned school trips will not proceed and we are working with the various travel companies to try to obtain refunds. We will contact involved families directly\u00a0when we have further information.<\/p>\n
